Frankenweenie (2012)

Seldom have I seen a stop motion film that was more intensely sad and at the same time truly funny. When Victor Frankenstein’s dog Sparky dies in an accident, Victor ressurects him and when his classmates hear about that little science project, hell breaks loose.

I love all the characters in this movie, they are all weird en funny at the same time. Especially Mr Whiskers and his close-ups really made me laugh. The relationship of Victor and Sparky is adorable and the story is very good. Burton and Disney are perfect together.
