Walt Disney Wednesday: Robin Hood

Robin Hood (1973)

Robin Hood tells the legend of Robin Hood, but Disney traded humans for animals. Robin is a fox and Little John is a lion that sucks his thumb and asks for his mommy whenever things don’t go his way. Hood is an outlaw that steals from the rich to save the poor.

I am glad that in this movie ‘poor’ means adorable. Mother Rabbit with her children are funny and cute. I did have the feeling that the movie could have been longer, but the story is still very nicely told. This is one of the best Disney movies.
