In case you haven’t noticed: I love chocolate. Some days I am afraid that I have more cocoa running through my veins than actual blood. But I am getting better, as I have my more healthy lifestyle now that it is March, and I am cycling to work and eating more healthy.

I love all kinds of chocolate, as long as it is not a chocolate-orange combination. I love many brands, like Cadbury’s, Cote D’Or, Hands Off, but there is a pretty new one in my life that is the new number one: Ombar.

Although I  only love their Cocomylk bar, cause I had the dark version yesterday and I did not think that was too great, it is so good that it is my new number one. The biggest reason for that is that the bar is vegan, meaning it does not contain any ingredients that might cause animals to suffer, and actually none of the ingredients takes any animal involvement, so: awesome.

As the name suggests the milk in this bar is coconut milk, and that result is ridiculously good. A bar of Cocomylk bar is a bit like the amaaazing Around Midnight Espresso chocolates by Booja Booja, which are also vegan and my second favorite chocolates in the world. Unfortunately vegan chocolate is a lot more expensive than normal chocolate, but it is so worth it. The chocolate actually is raw, and the basic product comes from Ecuador. Many of the vegan chocolate is a bit tougher and less creamy than their milky counterparts, but thanks to the coconut milk it is nice and creamy, ooh goodness.

You can just buy them in the supermarket in The Netherlands, at least at Albert Heijn where I shop.

On the website of Ombar you can also order it (by the way, I do not get paid to write this article, I always buy my chocolate myself!), and I now discover all these new flavours that I am extremely curious about. Eeeh! I will definitely spend some money there when no-spend-March is finally over.. 😉
