John Carter (2012)

This movie is based on an old book and it’s about a guy that lives on earth, but mysteriously gets beamed to the planet Mars. The alien-like creatures on the planet kidnap him and he meets a princess that needs to be saved.

It’s weird. TBH: This is not my cup of tea because the environment is very desert-like and sandy. On top of that I think the director does not properly introduce the characters and therefore you can’t really relate to them during the journey. They don’t learn valuable lessons and the princess is not likeable at all.
